School Day Trips

We offer Irish language activity days for school tours. Get in touch and we can tailor the perfect day out for your students.

Our focus is on encouraging the use of the Irish language in a fun environment. All of our activities are also focused on improving personal and interpersonal skills and can be adapted to suit each student group's needs.

6th Class

Gaining confidence for secondary level

What better way to prepare for secondary school than a great day out with the class, having great fun through Irish! Moontour has a specially designed course to facilitate an easy, enjoyable and confident transition to secondary level.

1st & 2nd Year

Intro to Irish

A great way for groups to bond. Students get to try out a range of new activities. A one day introduction to Irish can be a great way to change a student's perception of Irish and to instill a love for the language.

3rd & 5th Year

Reinforcing fluency

We offer students the opportunity to practice the Irish language in a different environment. Why not consider a Moontour outing for Seachtain na Gaeilge?

4th Year

Transition Year

The perfect ending to transition year. Our activities develop a variety of skills, including team building and leadership, all through the Irish language. It can be a great way to brush up on Irish skills and to improve conversational fluency. Talk to us about our Gaisce programmes to see how we can help!

6th Year

Preparation for the Béaltriail

This can be the perfect day out before the oral exam. Our activities include yoga to help ease exam tensions and games specifically designed to get students talking as Gaeilge
